Rose Mont is professionally cleaned and made ready for your event. We ask that you leave the house and grounds clean. Trash and refuse should be bagged and placed in city containers. These must be placed in front of the house for Monday pick-up. Decorations must be taken down and removed. The floors must be left clean and counters free of food and food residue.

     Rose Mont may be used for wedding and/or engagement pictures. It is necessary to reserve the date if it is different than your event. The charge is $25 per hour for pictures taken inside. There is no fee to use the Rose Mont Mansion grounds for photo shoots when photos are taken during regular hours between April 15th and October 31st. After hours and off season photographers must call and make appointments and pay a $25 rental fee for photo shoots.      The house (1st floor only), reception hall and the restroom on the grounds are wheelchair accessible.

     Votives may be used on tables, on porches in the reception hall and on the front steps. Luminaries may be used on the edge of the driveway.

     The Judge’s Office will not be open for use during parties or receptions. It may be used by groomsmen at weddings.

     Dancing is allowed in the reception hall and on the porch of the reception hall.

     Smoking is not permitted inside Rose Mont, the reception hall, bathrooms or on the porches.

     Nails, tacks, staples, tape or Command items may not be used to attach decorations to any part of Rose Mont. Fishing line is a great alternative.

     Throwing of confetti, birdseed or rice is prohibited. If fabric flower petals are thrown, you are asked to please clear the property of them at the end of your event.

     Children are not allowed on the second floor unless they are members of the wedding party.

     Please do not move furniture inside of Rose Mont. You are asked to do everything possible to protect the furniture at all times.

     Your invitations should carry the address as 810 South Water Avenue for Rose Mont.


     The rental period is 8 hours for wedding and reception. Additional time is available at $150 per hour.

     Small events such as teas, corporate meetings or parties are charged a rental fee of $150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum for hall rental.

     Security for events is required and will be provided by Rose Mont. All events are charged a security fee of $25 per hour.

     A $400 non-refundable deposit is required to secure date and will be applied toward your balance. The contract must be signed at this time. The remainder of all rental fees, along with completed event sheets, are due 30 days prior to your event. Cash or checks are accepted.

     Balance on all rentals due 60 days prior to event.

A Breakage/Cleaning Deposit of $200 is required against any breakage or damage that may occur during your event. This deposit also applies to cleaning Rose Mont facilities after your event. If the facilities are left the way you received them, your deposit will be returned. This deposit needs to be made using a separate check marked “breakage/cleaning”.

     Rose Mont owns 30 white 6 foot long tables, 10 white 60” round tables and 300 white folding chairs for your use at $200 if you set them up and return them to storage. Should you require Rose Mont to do the set-up and take-down, we have a crew that can do so for a fee depending upon the number of tables and chairs you require.

     All events must end at 11:00 PM.

     Wine, beer, champagne and wine/champagne punches may be served during events at Rose Mont. All state and local ordinances must be observed. Alcoholic beverages may not be sold and guests may not bring alcoholic beverages for personal consumption. Champagne fountains are not allowed. Beer kegs are not allowed inside Rose Mont or the reception hall., but may be placed on the porches or in the yard. Alcohol must stop being served one hour prior to the end of the event or no later than 10:00 PM.

     Music can not be played after 10:00 PM.

     The kitchen is equipped for your use. We ask that no other cooking appliances be brought into the facilities. Food or beverage is not allowed on the second floor or the Judge’s Office.

     A sign is provided for your use stating that Rose Mont is closed to the public during your event.

     All parking for guests is in the back of the reception hall.

     Tents are allowed on the grounds. Any rental items must be delivered and picked up as closely to your rental date as possible. Please make us aware of times of deliver and pickup. Rose Mont is not responsible for the tent or rental items set-up under or around the tent. You are responsible for all delivery charges.
